1. Data Controller

Vanntransfers (“we”) is the controller of your personal data. Processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Reg. 2016/679) and Greek law.

2. Data we collect

  • Booking data: full name, email, phone, flight number, pickup/dropoff, date & time, number of passengers.
  • Payment data: processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, usage statistics via cookies.
  • Location (optional): if you grant GPS permission for accurate pickup detection.

3. Purpose of processing

  • Processing and confirming your booking.
  • Communicating with you (email, SMS, WhatsApp) about the transfer.
  • Issuing receipts/invoices and meeting tax obligations.
  • Improving our services and securing the website.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of the transfer contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR), compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c) and your consent where required (e.g. marketing, GPS).

5. Recipients

Data is shared only with:
  • the driver performing the transfer (only the contact and route details needed),
  • payment provider Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant),
  • email/notifications provider (Supabase / Resend),
  • our accountant and competent authorities where required by law.

6. Retention period

Booking data is retained for 5 years for tax purposes. Technical data up to 12 months. After that it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as to withdraw consent. Contact us at info@vanntransfers.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

8. Cookies

The website uses essential cookies to function and — with your consent — analytics cookies for usage statistics. You can manage them in your browser settings.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures (SSL/TLS encryption, database RLS, restricted access) to protect your data.
